Elisabetta Gallo

CMS experiment at the LHC

Elisabetta Gallo is Professor at the University of Hamburg and Lead Scientist at DESY in the field of particle physics. She has worked at the LEP storage ring at CERN in Geneva and at the HERA collider at DESY, and she is now a member of the CMS collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Together with her group, she is focusing on Standard Model measurements at CMS, in particular measurements on Higgs boson production. Her group also participates in CMS detector operations and in the construction of future tracking detectors for the upgrade of CMS.
