Information on the current snow situation on the campus in Hamburg
as of 08 January 2026
Due to snow, there is a risk of falling branches and black ice across the entire campus.
The following recommendation applies to DESY employees: If it is compatible with your tasks and operational requirements, the DESY Board of Directors recommends working from home. Please consult with your group leader regarding this matter.
When visiting the campus, please note the following:
- Respect the barriers.
- Do not stand under trees and roof overhangs.
- Drive at walking pace and pay particular attention to pedestrians.
