A creative profession to design furniture and diverse wooden products with various materials. Ideas are technically implemented according to construction specifications and drawings. The produced workpieces are mostly single items.

Start of training:	1. August (every two years, start: 2018)
Training period:	3 years
School leaving qualification:	secondary school certificate or higher degree
Location:	Hamburg

Activities

Deep insight into all our production areas
Production of own sample projects and assistance to journeymen in projects and assembly work
Production and reading of drafts and drawings, basics of shaping
Distinguishing of wood and wood materials, selection according to intended application and economic efficiency
Processing of wood and wood materials with tools
Processing of veneer, glass, plastic and metals
Setup, operation and maintenance of machines, equipment and appliances
Manufacturing and combining of parts to obtain products
